Though Number Yoga is simple for patient to do by just silently reciting the numbers to heal their illnesses, it requires profound knowledge of the practitioner to understand body energy systems and how numbers impact the systems to come up with the Number Yoga prescription. 

Number Yoga diagnosis is based on Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) to understand the root cause of the patent's issue. For example, a patient has headache, and this headache could be caused by imbalance of different meridians (energy pathways) or body systems (e.g., stomach/ spleen or liver/ Gall Bladder). Based on the pattern and root cause analysis, as well as the location or the organ that presents the symptoms, practitioner will apply numbers that reflects the organs or meridians or the specific location, and orchestrate the numbers to balance (strengthen or weaken)  the energy or the systems to heal the illness.

For example, a patient with vertex headache and acid reflux are likely caused by liver energy imbalance and the imbalance also impacts stomach, so 40.70 may be prescribed to patient for healing of their issues. 

I am reciting 0640.820.010 everyday to maintain my health. 0640 improves my blood circulation, nourish my blood and makes my blood vessels more elastic. 820 improves my oxygen, respiration and digestive systems, while 010 is to enhance my brain and spinal cord, the nerve systems.   

Number Yoga is powerful and patient may experience the effect immediately. Because of this, when I prescribe the Number set, I ask patients to recite it silently for 20-30 seconds to see how he or she feels before I finalize it. If he or she feels such discomfort like headache or stomach upset, I will modify the numbers. It is OK for patient to continue use the numbers if the patient does not feel anything different or feels better immediately. 

Normally, patient should feel the effect of Number Yoga in about 3 days if not sooner and that's why I typically like to follow up in 3 days to see how the patient is doing and if I need to adjust the strength of the prescription or even change the focus based on progress.

If the patient doing Number Yoga does not feel any difference in a week, I normally will change the prescription. If the patient feels improvement with Number Yoga, he or she may continue with the same number set till the illness is completely healed.
